The Newsome Varsity Basketball Team will host its ninth annual golf tournament Saturday, Sept. 15 starting at 7:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. at Bloomingdale Golfers Club, 4113 Great Golfers Place, Valrico.
The cost is $85 per person or $340 per foursome and includes breakfast and lunch, goody bags, door prizes, a silent auction and prizes for winning teams. Members of the varsity basketball team will serve as caddies.
