There will be a reception to honor Tom Lee, R-Brandon, a candidate for the Florida Senate, District 24, Oct. 11 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Barn Theatre at Winthrop, 11349 W. Bloomingdale Ave., Riverview.
Hosts include county commissioners Ken Hagan, Al Higginbotham, Sandy Murman, Sheriff David Gee, Hillsborough County State Attorney Mark Ober and Plant City Commissioner Dan Raulerson.
