The Children's Board of Hillsborough County, 1002 E. Palm Ave., Tampa, will offer social media and mobile technology training for nonprofits Thursday, Feb. 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The cost is $149 per person and proceeds benefit Buddy Cruise of FishHawk Ranch.
This one-day intensive social media and mobile technology how-to training is ideal for nonprofit communications and development staff. Presented by Heather Mansfield of DIOSA Communications and Nonprofit Tech 2.0, attendees will gain practical knowledge about how to successfully launch and maintain social media and mobile marketing campaigns for their nonprofit.

Based upon her book "Social Media for Social Good: A How-To Guide for Nonprofits," the training will present a comprehensive strategy for integrating Web 1.0, Web 2.0, and Web 3.0 campaigns in order to maximize ROI (Return on Investment).
With more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit communications and 15,000-plus hours spent utilizing social and mobile media over the last six years, this training cuts through the hype and narrows in on the most important best practices and tools useful for a nonprofit. All attendees will receive a copy of Mansfield's book the day of the training and proceeds benefit Buddy Cruise.

How to Register:

2. You will then either be sent an invoice from PayPal, which can be paid with MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover or a PayPal account; or instructions on how to pay with check. Sorry, no refunds. If for some reason your schedule changes and you can no longer attend the training, you can transfer your registration to another individual.
3. Once payment is received, you will receive a confirmation of your registration via email.
