Local kennel clubs will join forces to sponsor the AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Day, "It's All About the Dogs 2012," Saturday, Sept. 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Florida State Fairgrounds, 4800 U.S. 301 N., Tampa.
The pet-friendly event will feature a parade for dogs, games, contests, prizes, demonstrations, rescue groups and free samples.
