Tampa East Rotary Golf Tournament

The Tampa East Rotary Club is seeking players and sponsors for its annual golf tournament Oct. 21 at the Walden Lake Golf and Country Club, 2001 Clubhouse Drive, Plant City. All proceedfs from this tournament will benefit the Virginia Laney Scholarship (Training Initiative for Women, disaster relief through ShelterBox USA and other club charities.

Registration and a box lunch will be provided at 11 a.m. and the shotgun start is at 1 p.m. An awards banquet dinner will follow at 5:30 p.m. It will include a hold-in-one, straightest drive, closest to the pin, longest drive and greatest putt contest. There also will be door prizes and raffles.

The cost for one player is $99. A gold sponsorship is $1,000; a silver sponsorship is $500; a corporate sponsorship is $400; a hole sponsor is $100.
