Learn to still the mind by experiencing deep relaxation through Yoga Nidra: “yogic sleep with awareness”, a guided meditation practice.

What is Yoga Nidra? Yoga Nidra is the deepest and most powerful of all meditations. You will learn to consciously relax into a state of mind in between wakefulness and dream. Yoga Nidra is a systematic method of meditation which induces complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation by creating one-pointedness of mind. The brain waves move into Theta and Delta states, which allow one to experience a conscious dreamless sleep. This is the center where visions become reality, giving you direct access to the extraordinary powers of your own intuition, creativity, health and abundance. You give up control of the body but not of the mind. One emerges from the practice feeling as refreshed as having slept 4 hours.

The session will begin with restorative Yoga postures to release your body from the day before settling into guided relaxation.

Bring your mat and dress comfortably to rest in awareness of the present moment. Wear comfortable clothes and bring socks. Blankets, neck rests, and eye pillows are available or bring your own.

Any level of practitioner can enjoy Yoga Nidra.
