The Giving Hope Through Faith Foundation is making plans for the sixth annual Zach Tucker Golf Scramble to take place May 13 with a 1 p.m. shotgun start at River Hills Country Club, 3943 New River Hills Parkway, Valrico. The tournament is in honor of Zach Tucker, who died of a brain tumor. His mother, Sherry, started the foundation in 2007 for families facing hardships due to a cancer diagnosis. Since it began, the foundation has aided more than 185 families. The tournament organizers are looking for sponsors ranging from $200 to $2.500 as well as donations of prizes for a raffle and auction items.
