A Fatal Shooting Happened In A Music Video In Riverview: Police

Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 20-year-old man for the alleged homicide in Riverview.

BLOOMINGDALE-RIVERVIEW — A 20-year-old man was arrested for a double shooting that took place while a music video was being filmed that he and several others were part of in Riverview on Monday, a police news release said.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said that through multiple interviews, they discovered that Jordan Jaime Silver, 20, intentionally shot a woman with a handgun in the 13000 block of Clement Pride Boulevard while they were taking part in a music video early Monday morning.

The victim died at the shooting location, said authorities.

Due to Marsy's Law, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office will not release the victim's identity.

Authorities said Silver's actions were unprovoked, according to witnesses. Before Silver left the location, he also shot a man who was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said Silver faces the following charges:

  • First degree attempted murder premeditated with a firearm.
  • Second degree murder with a firearm.
