First Southeast Hillsborough Summer Camp Expo Scheduled

From Friends of Joshua House Foundation: Family-Friendly Tampa Bay announced the inaugural Family-Friendly Tampa Bay Summer Camp Expo, Brandon Area Edition. The event is Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Hillsborough Community College-Brandon Campus. Admission and parking are free for the Expo. Miriam Cook, Founder of Family-Friendly Tampa Bay said, “We have responded to numerous requests from our Southeast Hillsborough County readers that have asked us to develop a summer camp expo for the Brandon, FishHawk, Bloomingdale, Lithia, and Riverview areas; we are excited to bring this Expo event to the Brandon HCC campus.”

Miriam Cook, Founder of Family-Friendly Tampa Bay said, “After hosting three successful Summer Camp Expos with over 5,000 attendees in the past two years, We have responded to numerous requests from our Southeast Hillsborough County readers that have asked us to develop a summer camp expo specifically for the Brandon, FishHawk, Bloomingdale, Lithia, Valrico, Riverview and surrounding areas; we are excited to bring this Expo event to the Brandon HCC campus.”

Expo goers can strike up one-on-one conversations with summer camp experts tailored for Brandon-area families. From adventure, to stem, from academic adventures to sports, from technology to theatre there are a diversity of camps for all ages and interests. The Brandon Expo also includes specialty camps including coding, video game design, special needs camps, and chef camps.

Both indoor and outdoor activities for all ages will be featured at the Expo, including bounce houses, an all-ages dodgeball arena, stage performances, and giveaways. Families can participate in an Expo Easter egg hunt and kids can visit with the Easter Bunny. Plus, Expo participants will receive a BOGO coupon offers to local Brandon attractions. Finally, there will be a free petting zoo at the Expo.

Families can also launch summer adventures at the Expo by visiting with summer fun destination experts. On-site Expo demonstrations will include dance performances, and martial arts presentations. Additionally, A.R Workshop in Brandon will present a free craft that kids can assemble themselves at the Expo.
