Flood Advisory Issued for Hillsborough County
Heavy rainfall is anticipated Friday evening.

The National Weather Service’s Ruskin office has issued an urban and small stream flood advisory for Southeastern Hillsborough County.
Residents are being advised that up to three inches of rain could fall per hour. The advisory was issued at 5:48 p.m. and will remain in effect until 7:15 p.m.
“Keep children from being swept away in flooded ditches and drains,” the advisory warns. “Flood waters are usually deeper than they appear and may stall your vehicle. Just one foot of flowing water is powerful enough to sweep vehicles off the road. Turn around...don’t drown.”
