Florida 2016 Best Public Elementary Schools Named
Niche created a ranking list based on such factors as test scores, teach quality and district quality. Is your school on the list?

When it comes to state test scores, student-teacher ratios and other important factors that help define quality, some schools simply perform better than others.
To identify those who do public education right, the website Niche.com looked at such factors as student diversity, teacher quality, test scores and classroom size to develop rankings for public elementary schools across the country and state. The website itself was founded in 2002 by students from Carnegie Mellon University to provide reviews and information about colleges, public schools, neighborhoods and more.
Its 2016 Best Public Schools in Florida rankings were recently released. Only one school in the Tampa Bay area managed to crack the state’s Top 10 list – Bevis Elementary in the FishHawk area.
