Greater Riverview Chamber Hosted October Rediscover, Innovate, Celebrate Munch & Mingle

On Tuesday, October 13th, Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce (GRCC) hosted a Rediscover, Innovate, Celebrate Munch & Mingle at The Barn at Winthrop Town Centre. At this small gathering, masks were required and social distancing was recommended. Hand sanitizer was available to all guests and tables were spread 6 feet apart with 4 people at each table.

This Munch & Mingle event was sponsored by Troy University and catered by Acropolis Restaurant of Riverview LLC.

This Rediscover, Innovate, Celebrate Munch & Mingle also served as the kickoff for the 2021 Honorary Mayor of Riverview Race. During this year’s race there are 2 candidates raising funds for 4 different charities. Shirley Bhat, FishHawk-Riverview Rotary Club is fundraising for the Riverview Woman’s Club and FishHawk-Riverview Rotary Club. Patrick Crowne, The Forge Irish Pub is fundraising for South County Spartans Athletic Program Inc. and Seeds of Hope, Inc. They each have multiple events planned throughout the next month that will help raise funds for their charities. The winner of the 2021 Honorary Mayor of Riverview Race will be announced on December 15th.

GRCC Event Coordinator, Gabby Morford closed out the meeting by thanking everyone for attending and encouraging guests to attend the upcoming GRCC & Honorary Mayor Race events.
