Hillsborough Deputies Capture Cutest Fugitive

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL -- While they're more often called on to chase down bad guys, every once in awhile Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies are recruited to apprehend fugitives of the four-legged variety.

In this case, it was a matter of life and death. This adorable miniature pony named Poncho somehow escaped from his field and was loose on a busy road when Deputies Jason Otis and Lajic were called in to help.

It was quite a job catching the little pony without frightening him into the dangerous road. However, Poncho's owners were grateful to get the little guy home safely.
