In-Home Care Business Opens in Riverview

FirstLight HomeCare, provider of quality, affordable,     non-medical in-home care for adults, is now open in Riverview. FirstLight HomeCare Southern Hillsborough County is owned and operated by business partners Janice Bayruns, Terri Hensley and Michelle Kase. Located in Riverview, FirstLight HomeCare Southern Hillsborough County will service residents of Riverview, Apollo Beach, Bloomingdale, Brandon, Fish Hawk, Gibsonton, Lithia, Ruskin, Seffner, Sun City Center, and Wimauma.

Prior to opening FirstLight Southern Hillsborough County, Bayruns worked as the Director of Strategic Development at a Florida health group for 6 years. Bayruns has been working in the health industry for the past 10 years and has seen first-hand the need for in-home care services in the community.

For 16 years, Hensley worked in skilled nursing and rehabilitation. But, owning her own business was always one of her long-term goals. Her knowledge of the healthcare industry led her to FirstLight. By opening a FirstLight location, Hensley is able to provide the community with a quality in-home care experience.

Kase comes to FirstLight with 13 years of medical experience. Before taking time off to be a stay at home mom, Kase worked as a Registered Nurse in hospitals, outpatient surgical centers and physicians’ offices. She is looking forward to using her nursing experience to help provide residents of Southern Hillsborough County with quality in-home care.
