Kiddie Academy Celebrates Groundbreaking In Valrico

VALRICO, FL — Kiddie Academy Educational Child Care, a national provider of comprehensive educational child care programs, will open a new location in Valrico. Kiddie Academy of Bloomingdale will be owned and operated by Kaitlin and Jonathan Longworth at 1283 Bloomingdale Ave.

"We are excited to have the opportunity to bring Kiddie Academy’s advanced curriculum and philosophies to children and families of Valrico," said Kaitlin Longworth. “Our goal at Kiddie Academy is to feed a child’s curiosity and instinct to learn. My team is dedicated to delivering the highest quality educational child care possible to positively shape the lives of the community.”

To celebrate, Kiddie Academy of Bloomingdale conducted a groundbreaking ceremony Aug. 13. Special attendees included the academy’s general contractor, Right Choice Construction LLC, developer The Woodmont Co., as well as the lender, Pilot Bank.

“We believe that opportunities to teach and expand young minds present themselves every day and everywhere,” said Greg Helwig, president of Kiddie Academy. “Kiddie Academy empowers children with valuable tools to help make the most of those opportunities, and we aim to foster a fascination for learning in the classroom, at home and throughout the community.”

Kiddie Academy of Bloomingdale joins a network of 220-plus locations nationwide, with more than 25 new academies projected to open within the next year.

The Bloomingdale location wil use the Kiddie Academy Life Essentials curriculum. According to Kaitlin Longworth, the programs emphasize continuous, open communication between teachers and parents concerning each child’s development.
