Lithia Man Killed On Motorcycle On CR 672

LITHIA, FL – A 27-year-old Lithia man is dead after his motorcycle collided with a Peterbilt tractor on County Road 672 in Lithia Wednesday morning, June 20.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Brandon Wayne Fowler of 18345 C.R. 672 in Lithia was driving his 2013 Suzuki motorcycle west on CR 672 near Sweet Charlie Circle at 45 mph around 6:30 a.m.

A 2010 Peterbilt tractor, pulling a flatbed trailer, was making a left turn into a construction site across from 14350 CR 672.The tractor driver, Noriel Marcos Arteaga, 45, of 335 Reeves St., Lehigh Acres, didn’t see the motorcycle and struck the passenger side fuel tank.

Fowler, who was wearing a helmet, was knocked off the motorcycle and died at the scene.
