OPPORTUNITIES:

• This year's Teaching to Excellence event is pivoting to a fully virtual Adopt-A-School program. GRCC Members will have the chance to adopt one of our local Riverview schools by providing them with school supplies & their Teacher of the Year plaque. Sponsors will also be recognizing their adopted school and Teacher of the Year via our Teaching to Excellence Facebook page between August 3-14. • Hillsborough County is inviting business leaders to be a part of a virtual “Conversation on Re-opening Business During COVID-19.” This meeting is focused specifically on restaurants, bars, and retail businesses in our community. The conversation is scheduled for Tuesday, Jul. 21st from 8:30-9:30AM. Please register by Friday, Jul. 17th.
• ECHO’s Riverview location is seeking volunteers weekdays from 9AM-1:30PM. Volunteers must be age 16 or older and do not need to commit to the entire time period. Please contact Steve at (813) 685-0935 or steve@echofl.org.
• 1 Million Cups Tampa is seeking business owners/entrepreneurs who would be interested in presenting at one of their meetings. 1 Million Cups provides a platform for entrepreneurs, 5 years of less in the business who are interested in connecting with their community and growing their business.
