The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is looking for help identifying the suspect.
RIVERVIEW, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying a man it says has been harassing female real estate agents at model homes.
According to the sheriff’s office, the man is accused of going into a model home on Jan. 17 around 12:30 p.m. and engaging the salesperson in conversation.
“The female sales person was working alone and became aware of the subject acting suspiciously during the conversation (he was invading her personal space and giving her compliments, following closely as they walked around),” the sheriff’s office wrote in an email to media.

After the man left, the woman learned a similar incident happened on Jan. 11 at a model home in Ayersworth Glen in Riverview. That incident took place around 6:05 p.m. The man in that case behaved in a similar fashion, but is also accused of leaning over a desk a sales woman was sitting at and rubbing his “groin area over the agent’s hands.”
The man deputies would like to speak with stands about 5 feet, 5 inches in height and has a medium build. He was last seen wearing sunglasses and a baseball cap. Deputies say he drives a dark color, four-door vehicle that is similar to a Toyota Prius. The vehicle had an out-of-state tag, possibly from Virginia.
