Man Injured In Early-Morning Home Invasion
Three men broke out the backdoor window of a mobile home at 105 Delia St. in Wimauma around 5 a.m.

WIMAUMA, FL -- Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Deputies are investigating a home invasion that took place in Wimauma early Tuesday morning, Jan. 16.
According to sheriff's reports, three black men broke out the backdoor window of a mobile home at 105 Delia St. in Wimauma around 5:40 a.m. One man had a handgun. The home was occupied by five adults and three children who were held at gunpoint while the robbers stole $1,500 cash, cell phones and other property.
One resident, Arturo Vazquez Hernandez, resisted and was pistol whipped by the man with the gun. He was treated for injuries at a local hospital and released.

After leaving the home, the robbers confronted Bernardo Hilario Anastacia, who was sitting in his Ford Focus waiting to pick up a friend. He was not injured.
The robbers are possibly in their 30s. They were all wearing dark clothing and were described as tall and thin.

They are driving a 2001 green four-door Ford Focus with a Tennessee license plate. The plate number is possibly 8G98X5.
