Missing Valrico Woman Found Safe

A Valrico evening was found safe today at Town & Country Hospital.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Ivette Rodriguez, 35, was picked up by a resident on Monday night and taken to a fire station in Brandon. From there, she was taken to Town & Country Hospital where she was Baker Acted.

Rodriguez, who was classified as an endangered adult because she has the mental capacity of a 9-year-old, is said to have walked away from the Sisters Care House, 4022 Quail Briar Drive, where she lives. She has lived at the group home since June and has no immediate family in the area, a sheriff's office media release said.

Rodriguez remains in the hospital.
