Mulrennan Student Places 3rd in Croatia Marathon Swim

Niko Milosavljevic, a swimmer for the Blue Wave Swim Team at the Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center, placed third overall at the Zadar Marathon Swim in Croatia.
Croatia is a unitary democratic parliamentary republic in Europe at the crossroads of Central Europe, the Balkans, and the Mediterranean. The country has hosted the Zadar Marathon Swim for 40 years.

During the marathon, Milosavljevic swam from the island of Preko to the island of Zadar, completing the 3-mile swim in 57 minutes and 34 seconds.
Finishing third overall in the men’s division, Milosavljevic is a 13-year-old student at Mulrennan Middle School.
