Noorani Medical Center to Host Health Fair

The health fair will take place Nov. 2 from 3 to 6 p.m.

There's a new doctor in town.

Dr. Nazneen Noorani recently opened Noorani Medical Center at 4320 Bell Shoals Road in the Village Center in Valrico.

To celebrate the opening of the new medical center, Noorani will host a free health fair Nov. 2 from 3 to 6 p.m.

The fair will offer free thyroid screenings, free blood pressure screenings and fresh refreshments. In addition, the clinic will present one lucky door prize winner with a special health-care screening valued at $1,200.

Noorani is board certified in family practice and hospice. She received her medical degree from Kasturba Medical College in India and completed her residency training in family medicine at Montgomery Family Practice in Norristown, Pa.

Noorani also completed a fellowship training in hospice and palliative medicine at Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee.

Noorani and her family moved to Florida in 2011. She has been married for 13 years and has two children.

Her new office in Valrico is a walk-in clinic featuring an in-house laboratory, preventative health screenings and comprehensive physical exams.

The center accepts more major insurance plans.
