Pasco Detectives Seek Man Wanted For Assault, Sexual Battery
Pasco County Sheriff's detectives are asking for the public's help to locate a man who reportedly battered and sexually assaulted a woman.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL -- Pasco County Sheriff's detectives are asking for the public's help to locate a man who reportedly strangled, battered and sexually assaulted a woman.
According to detectives, on Aug. 9, Brian Carl Dehart, 52, reportedly committed a domestic assault on Van Doren Avenue in New Port Richey in which he hit the victim on the head and in the face several times, tied her up and sexually battered her.
Dehart then fled the area on foot. Detectives believe he is still in the New Port Richey area. He was last seen wearing a gray sleeveless shirt and possibly was armed with a firearm. Dehart is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, 215 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and multiple tattoos on his arms and right hand.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the location and arrest of Dehart for these outstanding charges. Anyone with information who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).
