Pedestrian Sustains Life-Threatening Injuries In Clearwater Crash
Police say the pedestrian wasn't using a marked crosswalk and may have been impaired at the time of the accident.

CLEARWATER, FL — Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to a crash Friday night in which a pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries.
Shortly after 8 p.m., a Toyota Camry driven by 82-year-old Wayne Spencer of Cape Coral struck Timmy Parker, 65, of Clearwater as Parker walked south across Court Street east of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
Parker was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg in critical condition. Police say Parker wasn't using a marked crosswalk and may have been impaired at the time of the accident.
