The Alafia Republican Club will hold its monthly meeting Tuesday, August 27, at 6:30 p.m. at River Hills Country Club, located at 3943 New River Hills Pkwy, in Valrico. This is a new meeting date and new meeting location for the club. The featured speaker for the evening will be Congressman Dennis Ross, who will speak about legislation pending in Washington. Immigration, health care and other issues important to conservatives are sure to be discussed. A variety of other guest speakers will follow the Rep. Ross on local issues.
