The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking Bay area residents to keep their eyes open for two teenage boys reported missing from Riverview.

According to the agency, Joseph Flanagan, 16, left his home around 6:45 p.m. Monday and has not returned. Deputies say Flanagan is believed to be in the company of another teen who is also missing. The boys may be headed to Massachusetts, an email from the agency to media stated.
Matthew Overton, 17, left his home around 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6, and hasn’t been seen since.

Flanagan is described as being about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs an estimated 190 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. Overton is about 6-foot-1 and weighs about 270 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Deputies describe the teens as “missing and endangered,” but warn that both might be armed. They advise that anyone who spots them contact local law enforcement.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has also issued a missing child alert for both teens. The children, that agency noted, were last seen in the area of U.S. 301 and Balm River Road.
“Do not approach and contact law enforcement,” FDLE wrote in an email to media.
