Ruskin Man Dies After Being Thrown From Pickup Truck On U.S. 41

RUSKIN, FL — A 53-year-old Ruskin man was killed Monday night after losing control of his pickup truck on U.S. 41.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver was headed north on U.S. 41 at 5:10 p.m. when he lost control, crossed the median, rotated into the northbound lanes and entered the shoulder of the road where the truck overturned on a guardrail.

Troopers said the man was thrown from the pickup truck. He was taken to the hospital, where he died, said the highway patrol.
