Update: Arrest Made in Elderly Woman's Battering in Brandon Home Invasion
The home invasion occurred on South Bryan Circle Dec. 15.

Update, Dec. 16:
The Seffner man wanted in a Brandon home invasion was arrested Thursday night, Dec. 15, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office reported.
Investigators say Michael Anthony Turner, 43, broke an 83-year-old woman's arm during a home invasion in the 500 block of Bryan Circle South in Brandon and stole her SUV and $500 in jewelry.

The victim's car and jewelry have been recovered, the sheriff's office said.
Turner is charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling, aggravated battery of the elderly, grand theft and grand theft auto.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is seeking a 43-year-old Seffner man suspected of assaulting and robbing an 83-year-old Brandon woman.
According to the sheriff's office, the elderly woman was at her home at 508 S. Bryan Circle in Brandon this morning at 9:20 a.m. when a man approached her in her garage as she was getting out of her SUV and forced her into the house where he took her car keys and demanded money while grabbing and shaking her. He then told the victim he would use his gun if she did not comply.
The man reportedly forced the victim into her bedroom where she gave him $45 in cash. He then went through the victim's personal belongings and stole approximately $500 in jewelry.
When the victim tried to get away, the man pushed her into the bathroom, shoving her against the wall and fixtures.
The man then fled in the victim's The light gray 2008 Ford Escape SUV with Florida Tag number N 3 8 9 K Q.
The victim identified the suspect as Michael Anthony Turner, 43, of 509 Lakeside Dr., Seffner. Turner had been doing general maintenance work for her off and on over the past two years.
The victim received a broken arm and was transported to Tampa General Hospital.
