Shoplifters Grab $3,000 In Merchandise From Gibsonton Walmart

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is seeking information on a couple who stole nearly $3,000 worth of alcohol and vacuum cleaners.

GIBSONTON, FL – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on a couple who stole nearly $3,000 worth of alcohol and vacuum cleaners from the Gibsonton Walmart.

On Tuesday, July 17 at 6:04 a.m., the couple entered the Walmart at 9205 Gibsonton Drive and loaded more than $1,200 worth of vacuum cleaners into a shopping cart and then left without paying for them.

At 9:44 a.m., the couple returned and stole more than $1,700 worth of liquor.

Both times, they drove away in a stolen 2014 gray Kia Optima with the tag GKRE83.

The man is described as black with a dark complexion, 55 to 60 years old.

The woman is also black with a dark complexion, age 55 to 60 with curly hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at (813) 247-8200.
