It is no surprise, but research has proven that sugary drinks are directly linked to obesity in kids. They found "preschoolers who consumed sugary drinks were more likely to gain excess weight and run the risk of being obese compared with non-drinkers".
One important point for parents and grandparents- often "juice" can have more sugar than soda!
