Sun City Center Woman Struck By Lightning; Condition Unknown

SUN CITY CENTER, FL -- Tuesday's thunderstorms resulted in more than 50 lightning strikes in Tampa Bay, including one that struck and injured a woman in Sun City Center.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said the woman was hit by lightning at a home at 1612 West Del Webb Blvd. around 11:30 a.m.

She's been transported to a local hospital. There is no information on her condition at this time.
