Support Local Business Owners Through Virtual Discussions
Small business owners and residents in the Riverview area can take advantage of supporting locally owned businesses virtually.

BLOOMINGDALE — RIVERVIEW, FL — Small businesses owners in the Riverview area will have the opportunity to learn from local business leaders through free virtual discussions scheduled during November.
In honor of Small Business Saturday, Nov. 28, Hillsborough County Economic Development is giving residents an opportunity to connect with successful small business owners so that they can gain an understanding of what it takes to be successful in the small business market, and why it is important to shop local.
The virtual discussion panels are on the following Fridays at 9 a.m.:

- Nov. 13 - Food Industry Panel
- Nov. 20 - Retail Industry Panel
The 30-minute discussions each will feature three different local business leaders and will be followed by a brief question-and-answer period. Registration is free using the links above.
According to the Hillsborough County government, more than 90 percent of employers in the county are small businesses, which employ more than 200,000 workers.
