Tipster Helps Capture Accused Bank Robber
The accused Riverview bank robber was caught rather quickly.

The man wanted in connection with the robbery of a SunTrust Bank in Riverview Tuesday didn’t escape the long arm of the long for long, deputies say.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, a tip to Crime Stoppers resulted in the arrest of the man accused in the robbery. The crime in question occurred around 2:25 p.m. when a man walked into the 11104 Bloomingdale Ave. bank and showed the teller a note. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the man took off on foot.
A short while later, a tip came in that led deputies to the home of Patrick Kelly, 39. Kelly admitted to the crime, the sheriff’s office wrote in an email to media. All of the money taken in the robbery has been recovered.
