Downed Tree Forces Lithia Pinecrest Closing

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is asking motorists to steer clear of a section of Lithia Pinecrest Road Wednesday morning.

According to the agency, a tree fell in the area of Lithia Springs Road, blocking traffic.

"The road is closed in both directions on Lithia Pinecrest," an email from the agency said.

It is unclear how long it will take to clear the roadway. In the meantime, motorists are asked to take different routes.
