Two Cars Hit Pedestrian In Riverview On U.S. Highway 301: FHP
A 60-year-old woman died when two cars hit her after she stepped out into traffic on U.S. Highway 301, Florida Highway Patrol says.
BLOOMINGDALE - RIVERVIEW, FL —A 60-year-old Brandon woman died in Riverview on U.S. Highway 301 on Monday night after two cars hit her, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The victim attempted to cross highway lanes as two cars drove southbound on U.S. Highway 301, authorities said.
Both vehicles hit the pedestrian as she walked in front of the cars, investigators said.

Detectives said she died at the scene of the crash.
All southbound lanes on Highway 301 were closed as deputies investigated the incident.

Due to Marsy's Law, the Florida Highway Patrol will not release the name of the victim.
