Jul 08 Information Session with Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis, FL Dept of Financial Services
We are welcoming Chief Financial Officer, Jimmy Patronis with the Florida Department of Financial Services. CFO Jimmy Patronis is going to give GRCC Members insight on issues including COVID-19 response and recovery, business liability protections, and the state of Florida’s fiscal health and economy.

Jul 09 Virtual TCOB Relationship Building Network Meeting
During this time, TCOB is going to be meeting on Zoom. TCOB Members will have the opportunity to sign into the meeting 15 minutes early to network with folks at their discretion. The meeting will start promptly at 7:30 am. Those who join will have the opportunity to present their 40 second commercials including thank yous. The meeting will lock at 7:35 am.

• 1 Million Cups Tampa is seeking business owners/entrepreneurs who would be interested in presenting at one of their meetings. 1 Million Cups provides a platform for entrepreneurs, 5 years of less in the business who are interested in connecting with their community and growing their business. • Have you ever wanted to help your community with a problem but didn’t know where to start? Maybe it’s a run-down park or to help the impoverished in your community. State Farm Neighborhood Assist lets communities determine where grant funding is awarded. Anyone 18 years of age and older in the U.S. can participate. The application is short and simple, and you can learn more by visiting neighborhoodassist.com. The program officially launches on July 15 at 1:00 PM (ET).

• Small business owners in Hillsborough County can now access a new convenient portal to prepare to apply for economic recovery financial assistance through the Rapid Response Recovery Assistance Program. The first phase of applications for businesses in economically distressed areas open on June 30th. Business owners can use HCFLGov.net/R3Biz for more information and how to apply. You may also call (888) 393-7509 to ask questions and get help.
