USF Steinway Piano Series with Helen Krizos and Dharshini Tambiah

A part of the "Five for Five: A Steinway Celebration" Festival Week to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the School of Music Building and its status as an All-Steinway School.

A concert of four hands piano music given by Helen Krizos and USF faculty Dharshini Tambiah. Helen Krizos is the Deputy Head of Keyboard Studies at the Royal Northern College of Music. For many years, she was part of a highly-regarded piano duo with Peter Noke, and together they performed all over the United Kingdom, frequently broadcasting on BBC national radio and making numerous recordings on the Hyperion label. Helen has also appeared as a concerto soloist with many of the leading UK orchestras including the BBC Philharmonic and the English Chamber Orchestra. In addition to her activities as a performer, she is a well known and highly sought-after pedagogue, and has been a faculty member at the prestigious RNCM for many years.

This program of four-hand piano music will feature works by Schubert, Britten, and Saint-Saens.
