RUSKIN, FL -- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 39-year-old woman for driving under the influence after she was spotted by sheriff's deputies driving south in the northbound lanes of U.S. 41.
Deputies were near the intersection of U.S. 41 and College Avenue in Ruskin at 11:55 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3 when they saw a 2016 Kia driven by Amber Marie Oberle going the wrong way on U.S. 41.
They conducted a traffic stop as the car was nearing the crest of the Little Manatee River bridge. They say Oberle showed signs of impairment and deputies saw an open container in the car.
