• Let's Talk Boca Session on Safety Highlights Open Communication and the City's Top Rescue Teams (bocaratontribune.com) — Boca Raton residents recently joined city leaders at Spanish River Library for a "Let's Talk Boca" session focused on public safety, from advanced fire-rescue capabilities to police specialty units. Officials highlighted whole-blood field treatment, HAZMAT and technical rescue teams, and the city's ability to surge police resources during major incidents. The series will continue, with sessions livestreamed and archived online for residents to watch anytime.
   

• Boca Raton Man Gets 20 Years In Federal Prison (bocanewsnow.com) — A Boca Raton man has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for leading a nationwide real estate investment fraud that raised more than $50 million. Prosecutors say he continued directing the scheme from prison, diverting investor money into speculative trading, commissions, and personal expenses instead of promised properties. His wife received a four-year sentence, and restitution will be decided in September.
