Construction Underway for Massive Italian Market, Commercial Center in Boca Raton (bocadailynews.com) โ A major new Carmine's Gourmet Market and white-tablecloth Italian restaurant is rising at Glades Station, a three-building complex at Glades Road and Dixie Highway in Boca Raton. The project replaces former industrial zoning with a 28,000-square-foot market, restaurant and offices, and developers expect the Boca location to open in early 2027, competing with other regional Italian markets.

2. Related Ross expands footprint in South Florida with purchase of Boca Raton Innovation Campus (sun-sentinel.com) โ Boca Raton's massive Innovation Campus has been sold to Related Ross, which plans to keep BRiC as an office and tech hub while exploring a long-term mixed-use vision. The 123-acre site on T-Rex Avenue already hosts major employers, art exhibits and the weekly Boca Farmers Market, and the new owner says it will work with city leaders and neighbors before reshaping the property.

3. Investigators: Pickleball Player from Boca Ran Illegal Betting Ring (bocaratontribune.com) โ A suburban Boca Raton pickleball player has been charged with running an illegal online sports betting ring, following a year-long undercover investigation by Palm Beach and Broward deputies. Detectives say he used offshore websites, payment apps, and a Boca Raton company that received over $3 million to move gambling proceeds. His bond is set at $3 million, with a court hearing next month.

4. More Than 28,000 Bottles of Blood Pressure Drug Recalled: FDA (ntd.com) โ A nationwide recall of more than 28,000 bottles of 10-milligram ramipril involves medication made for Exelan Pharmaceuticals, which is based in Boca Raton. Patients here taking ramipril should check their bottles' NDC and lot numbers or ask a pharmacist to see if they're affected. The FDA classifies the recall as Class II, meaning potential but generally reversible health risks.
