Emergency Order 2020-52 is in effect from 12:01 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2020 expiring 12:01 a.m. Monday, April 27, 2020.

UPDATE: April 24, 2020 - 8:30pm

The City of Boca Raton has issued emergency order 2020-52 prohibiting recreational vessels from anchoring in Lake Boca or any portion of the Intracoastal Waterway 500 feet to the north or south of Lake Boca. Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has issued a permit to the City of Boca Raton granting a temporary exemption to establish regulations prohibiting or limiting anchoring within its jurisdiction.

Emergency Order 2020-52 is in effect from 12:01 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2020 expiring 12:01 a.m. Monday, April 27, 2020. Violation of an Emergency Order may be considered a violation of law, and the response by the police department can range from verbal warnings up to arrest. Our goal is to obtain voluntary compliance with this order.
