Kaufman Lynn Construction Celebrated Building Milestone
Topping Out Ceremony for New Jupiter Police Department and IT Data Center

Delray Beach-based firm Kaufman Lynn Construction recently celebrated the completion of the upper most point of the new Town of Jupiter Police Department & IT Data Center with a traditional Topping Out Ceremony. The final structural phase of the building was completed and a tree was hoisted to the top of the structure to signify the construction milestone.
Kaufman Lynn Construction representatives welcomed attendees including Deputy Chief David England and Councilmen Wayne Posner, who each shared a few words about what the new police station and data center means for the Town of Jupiter and the police force. After, the construction crew, which is 85% Palm Beach County based, enjoyed a luncheon to celebrate their success. This milestone comes at an exciting time for KL, one of the leading full-service commercial construction firms in the southeastern United States: the company recently celebrated its 30-year anniversary.
When complete, the new two-story reinforced 40,000-square-foot facility will house a 1,200-square-foot data and emergency operations center, a detention area, crime lab, virtual training simulator room, and physical training/exercise room. The building will be able to withstand winds up to 192 MPH and will serve as an EOC for the Town of Jupiter.
