• Fort Myers, Bonita Beach parking limited as hurricane restoration begins 4 years after Ian (news-press.com) — Starting Sept. 8, Bonita Beach Park and Little Hickory Island Beach Park will close for yearlong Hurricane Ian restorations, limiting parking and shifting Bonita Springs visitors to alternate access points. Residents are urged to use LeeTran's Ultra On Demand service from the Center of Bonita Springs and other transit options while new boardwalks, restrooms, and parking lots are rebuilt.
