• Bradenton Beach police officer hit by drunk driver: BBPD (wfla.com) — A Bradenton Beach police officer was injured when a suspected drunk driver crashed into his patrol car near Cortez Road and 75th Street West after his shift. He suffered only minor injuries and was treated and released from the hospital, but the patrol car was totaled and the driver was arrested on DUI charges.
