$1 Million Florida Lottery Prize Claimed By Bradenton Man

A Bradenton man won the $1 million top prize after playing the $5 GOLD RUSH SUPREME scratch-off game, Florida Lottery said.

BRADENTON, FL — A Bradenton man won a $1 million top prize from the $5 GOLD RUSH SUPREME scratch-off game, Florida Lottery said in a news release.

Alain Sierra chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $880,000. He claimed his prize at Florida Lottery’s district office in Tampa.

He purchased his winning ticket from Cortez Shell at 3612 Cortez Road West in Bradenton. The gas station will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

The $5 GOLD RUSH SUPREME game launched in January and features more than $199 million in cash prizes, including 24 top prizes of $1 million. The game's overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.97.
