Manatee County Man Claims $1 Million FL Lottery Prize Playing Scratch-Off Game

A Bradenton man claimed a $1 million top prize from the $5 Gold Rush Supreme scratch-off game, the Florida Lottery said.

BRADENTON, FL β€” A Manatee County man claimed a $1 million top prize playing the $5 Gold Rush Supreme scratch-off game, Florida Lottery said in a news release.

Reginald Fields, 33, of Bradenton chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump sum payment of $880,000 from Florida Lottery’s Tampa district office.

He purchased his winning ticket from K & S Food Mart at 2615 9th Street West in Bradenton. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning tickets.

The $5 Gold Rush Supreme game launched in January and features more than $199 million in cash prizes, including 24 top prizes of $1 million. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.97.
