2 Arrested in Monday Morning Home Invasion
Bradenton Police say they kicked in a door and held the residents at gunpoint.

Two Bradenton men are behind bars following a Monday morning home invasion.
The incident happened around 12:05 a.m. in the 3900 block of 37th Street Court West when two men kicked open the home’s door and confronted the residents inside. One of the two men was armed with a small black handgun and held the residents at gunpoint while a search for cash and property was conducted, police said in a media release.
With a purse and an undisclosed amount of cash in hand, the two men left the home without injuring the residents. A witness to the crime provide police with a detailed description of the car the men were riding in.

Police stopped that car a short while later and the victims positively identified the two men inside as their attackers.
Arrested were Michael J. Davis, 44, and Larry J. Jackson, 25, both of Bradenton. They each face one count of home invasion with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and aggravated assault.
