2 FL Lottery Winners Claim Big Prizes In Manatee County
A Bradenton woman won $2M on a scratch-off game, while a Palmetto woman took home a $1M prize on another game, Florida Lottery said.
MANATEE COUNTY, FL — Two Manatee County residents recently won big prizes playing scratch-off games, according to Florida Lottery news releases.
Eureca Battle, 40, of Bradenton won the $2 million top prize from the $2,000,000 Bonus Cashword scratch-off game. She claimed her prize as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,645,000 from Florida Lottery’s headquarters in Tallahassee.
She bought her winning ticket from Speedway at 11002 State Road 64, Bradenton. The store will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

$2,000,000 Bonus Cashword, a $10 game that launched in May, features eight top prizes of $2 million and 20 second-tier prizes of $100,000. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.12.
Meanwhile, Lisa Heisner, 57, of Palmetto won a $1 million prize playing Gold Rush Limited. She claimed her winnings, taking it home as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $795,000, from the Florida Lottery’s district office in Tampa, the agency said.

She purchased her winning ticket from the Publix at 9520 Buffalo Road, Palmetto. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
Gold Rush Unlimited, a $20 scratch-off game, features 32 top prizes of $5 million and 100 prizes of $1 million. This ticket is also filled with more than 33,000 prizes of $1,000 to $100,000. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.65.
