2 Manatee High Football Players Charged in Rape
They're accused of attacking a 15-year-old girl.
Two Manatee High School seniors have been charged in an attack on a 15-year-old girl that reportedly took place over the Labor Day weekend.
According to the Bradenton Police Department, Wesley Simeus and Gyriel Price, both 18, have been charged with two counts each of lewd and lascivious battery.
The two were charged in the case Wednesday and were being booked into the Manatee County Jail, Lt. James Racky said.

Details of the attack are not being released at this time.
The incident is said to have occurred sometime overnight Sunday or in the early morning hours Monday.

Simeus is a cornerback on the high school’s football team while Price plays nose guard.
