2 Patrol Vehicles Donated To Department In North FL: Bradenton Police

BRADENTON, FL — After learning that the Jasper Police Department in Hamilton County, Florida was in need of patrol vehicles, the Bradenton Police Department decided to step up to help the small force of seven sworn officers.

Bradenton police donated two backup Ford Explorers to Jasper police after getting approval from Mayor Gene Brown and city councilors to give the SUVs to the department, according to a Facebook post.

“Sadly, Jasper chief of police Tony Rickerson passed away earlier this summer,” Bradenton police wrote. “We handed over the keys to JPD's interim chief of police this week.”
